'GOOD' & 'EVIL' – GOOD HEALTH & BAD HEALTH

Within this system of 'Self Healing' – is there a correlation between ‘good’ and ‘evil’ - ‘good health’ and ‘bad health?’

​

The answer is an unequivocal yes.  Although, it may be imperceptible in practice, due to the complex workings of the ‘Cosmic Calculus’ – the ‘theory’ and ‘understanding,’ of this system is clear and should therefore be stated.

​

This is not a work on ‘morals and ethics’ and we are therefore not concerned with ‘absolutes,’ nor even ‘precise definitions,' by what we mean by ‘good’ and ‘evil’ – an acceptance of the ‘general consensus,’ will suffice.  Again, the reader is asked to draw upon his or her own ‘intelligence’ and 'practical' experience when considering these two terms.

'Self Healing' - using ‘mind,’ is predicated on the ‘Unity,’ ‘Intelligence’ and ultimately – the ‘Reciprocal’ nature of ‘Universal Mind.’ 

That being the case – it must inexorably follow, that to maximise the benefits of such a work as this – namely, the maximization of ‘good health,’ – it makes sense to live a ‘good life.’  The individual must fill in for them self, what this comprises – but know two things - the 'Cosmic Calculus' works ‘elegantly,’ if in a rather ‘convoluted’ fashion, on two precious maxims – ‘you reap what you sow’ and - 'the Cosmos is not mocked.’

SELF HEALING & THE ‘MIND’ – BEGINNING THE WORK

Having dispensed, with the necessary, ‘philosophical’ and ‘meta-physical’ aspects – we can now proceed to flesh out this understanding and move onto more practical matters.

We are all on a journey of 'self discovery' - and if we really want to take control of our ‘health,’ we must therefore, 'take control’ (as far as is possible) – i.e. take responsibility for our path through this journey.

For example - if we have experienced 'bad health' and have tried repeatedly many ‘cures’ and approaches to 'recovery' and they do not seem to work, there could be a number of reasons for this.

​

KARMA

The ‘Law of Definite Return' – (Karma) - this is a well known 'metaphysical' principle in many spiritual systems - we have touched upon it very briefly in discussing 'good' and 'evil' and its correlation between 'good health' and 'bad health.'  The principle/Law can be summarized very simply 'what you sow you reap.' 

​

However, in the course of our journey through to ‘self discovery’ – it seems that we ‘cannot know,’ precisely, whether something we are experiencing at any particular point, is ‘karmic’ or not. 

​

So for example, someone may be suffering from a 'sickness' or 'illness' – but there is no individual on this planet who can point the finger and say to that individual - ‘you are suffering because you did evil' or this 'bad act’ – no individual can point the finger at another and say ‘you deserve to suffer.’ 

​

In the words of another great teacher – ‘judge not lest ye be judged.’

This fact is a ‘mercy’ – for it should ‘humble’ all of us – irrespective of our present condition to be weary of judging others.  It should also instill in each and every one of us – ‘compassion’ – to All – irrespective of ‘race,’ ‘colour,’ ‘ethnicity,’ ‘disposition,’ ‘lifestyle’ and also ‘current health condition.’

There can be and should be – no blame in ‘sickness.’  It should be understood that ‘sickness’ like all ‘dis-ease’ – ‘dis-comforts,’ we all individually and collectively suffer - can befall anyone. 

​

One can always find extremes – the 'monster tyrant' - who murders millions - can one say, that individual does not deserve good health? 

​

The only response that I could give to that is, that I wish no one ‘ill health’ and I leave it to ‘Cosmic Law’ through its 'unerring Calculus' to figure out the details.

​

Finally, the above Law – the ‘Law of Definite Return‘ (Karma) can be ameliorated by 'good works' – therefore, the 'wise' seeks to do 'good' - and live a 'good life.'
